Dr. Kaufman earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and her medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She was chief resident of pediatrics and completed her pediatrics internship at Medical University of South Carolina. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Kaufman moved to Douglasville in 1991 and subsequently opened Kaufman Pediatrics, which is now Creekside Pediatrics. While away from the office, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her daughters, attending the ballet, Braves baseball and being active in her church.
