Dr. Thomas is a graduate of Butler University and earned a Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Georgia. She received her Doctorate of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN and psychiatry residencies at Emory University. Dr. Thomas also completed an OB/GYN residency at the University of Virginia. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Thomas serves as WellStar’s assistant medical director of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.

She is also a private practice psychiatrist with interests in mood disorders and adult attention deficit disorder. She serves as a clinical liaison at WellStar Cobb, Kennestone and Windy Hill hospitals providing medication management with supportive therapy.
