Dr. Irlandez received a bachelor's degree in philosophy and natural sciences from Johns Hopkins University in 1993. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville in 1998. After completing his internship and residency at the Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital Program in Internal Medicine, he went on to complete a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Irlandez is board certified in internal medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He joined Cardiovascular Medicine in July 2004. He is currently on staff at WellStar Cobb, Douglas and Kennestone hospitals. His special interests include preventative cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and ischemic heart disease. Dr. Irlandez was born in Madisonville, Ky., and is married with two children.
