Dr. Nawararhna has been practicing since July 2007. She has been a Hospitalist at Mercy Hospital Anderson and at Brown County General Hospital. Both these hospitals are in Ohio.
Dr. Nawarathna received her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) degree from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka. She completed two internships at Base Hospital Gampaha in Sri Lanka, one in Internal Medicine, and one in Gynecology and Obstetrics. Dr. Nawarathna also completed an Internal Medicine internship at Interfaith Medical Center, which is in Brooklyn New York.
