Dr. Muster earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his residency at Rhode Island Hospital and his fellowship at Brown University Hospital. He is board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.

Dr. Muster served as medical staff president at WellStar Kennestone Hospital from 2004 to 2005. He is currently WellStar Health System's chief pulmonary officer and is chairman of the Credentials Committee at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
