Jeffrey Freeman Hines is a native of New York. He attended Brown University in Providence, RI as part of the combined Seven-Year Medical Education Program. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Brown in Biology, magna cum laude, in May 1983. Jeffrey was the recipient of a United States Army Health Professions Scholarship in 1982. Jeffrey received his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine in May 1986. Dr. Hines has extensive research interests, background, and is published in the field of papillomaviruses, cervical cancer vaccines, clinical cancer trials, disparities in healthcare, and undergraduate student education.
Dr. Hines also has expertise and specializes in Robotic Surgery in all aspects of the treatment of women with cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, vulvar cancer, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer. He is also actively involved in providing cancer health education lectures to at-risk groups. In July 2000, Dr. Hines joined Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology, in Atlanta, GA, as an attending gynecologic oncologist. His offices are located in Austell and Riverdale, and he primarily does Robotic Surgeries at Cobb Hospital in Austell.
