Dr. Tami L. Breton has a special interest in treating heart problems, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, and thyroid disease. She earned her Doctorate in Medicine from State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed her residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association and the American College of Physicians.
She was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s Bridges to Excellence program for their quality diabetes care and management. The Bridges to Excellence program is designed to create significant leaps in the quality of care by recognizing and rewarding healthcare providers who demonstrate that they have implemented comprehensive solutions in the management of patients and deliver safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care.
