Bhavaraju earned his medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in St. Eustatius, Netherlands-Antilles. He completed his residency in general surgery at Atlanta Medical Center and his fellowship in trauma/surgical critical care from Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
Dr. Bhavaraju is a member of The Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Telemedicine Association, American Medical Association, Southeastern Surgical Congress, American College of Surgeons, and American Association of Physicians of Indian. He is board certified in surgical critical care and general surgery.
