Dr. Mehta was born in Galion, Ohio. In June of 1994, he received his indergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Florida in Gainesville where he subsequently received his medical degree in June of 1998.
Dr. Mehta remained at the University of Florida where he completed his internal medicine residency in June 2001 and Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship in June 2004. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Mehta joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. in Cartersville where he currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research.
Dr. Mehta is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
