About

Dr. Kim earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in neurobiology from the University of Southern California. He received his medical degree from the University of California-San Diego and completed his internship and residency at Yale University.

Dr. Kim was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Florida. He has also served as a member of Scottish Rite Pediatric and Adolescent Consultants (the inpatient/consultant team for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite) for over a decade. Dr. Kim has received numerous awards from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association for continuing education. He has served two terms on the board of directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama.

While away from work, Dr. Kim enjoys coaching youth soccer. He resides in Cobb County with his wife and two children.
