A native of Columbia, Dr. Baute moved to the United States in 1974. He completed his internship at St. Francis General Hospital in Pittsburgh and his residency at Temple University Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. He was also a cardiac fellow at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Baute has 31 years of clinical experience in addition to seven years of teaching at the Medical College of Georgia, VA Medical Center and the University of South Carolina. His special interests include performing cardiac catheterizations and other advanced procedures and in clinical cardiovascular care.
He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and nuclear cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the Cobb County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia. He is currently on staff at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
