Outpatient Counseling Services
Outpatient Counseling Services (OCS) has developed multi-level service options for patients experiencing psychiatric disorders as well as addiction disorders. Participants receive individualized treatment that promotes healthier lifestyle choices, improved relationship dynamics, support, long-term recovery and education.
Diagnostic Assessments for Treatment
The initial assessment identifies the most appropriate level of care necessary in returning the individual to their optimal level of functioning. Individuals meeting the criteria for admission will be further evaluated by a psychiatrist to complete the evaluation process. An individualized treatment plan will be developed by the team to assist the individual on the road to recovery.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
OCS offers behavioral health services to individuals that are experiencing acute symptoms of substance abuse and mental illness, but do not require the 24-hour supervision provided by inpatient psychiatric care. Clients attend PHP Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Alternative schedule maybe available from 11:40 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
OCS offers the intensive outpatient program to meet the needs of individuals whose symptoms are severe, but not acute. While in the IOP patients attend treatment Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Alternative schedule maybe available from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. This allows many patients to live at home and maintain a work or school schedule while in treatment.
Licensed mental health professionals are available to see clients for weekly outpatient counseling groups. Sessions can be scheduled according to clients' necessities and availability.
OCS can provide emergency intervention to help people who have recently experienced major loss or suffering. These cases include natural disasters, shootings, and other situations that involve fear, injury, extreme discomfort, property damage, or loss of friends and loved ones.
Workshops, Seminars & Professional Development
