About Us

Atlanta Colon and Rectal Surgery is the largest and oldest practice of its kind in Georgia, serving patients throughout metro Atlanta and the Southeastern United States for 40 years. Each of ACRS’s board certified surgeons is strongly committed to the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction. They specialize in the medical and surgical diseases of the intestine, colon, rectum, and anus.

ACRS surgeons perform minimally invasive colon resections, including Robotic and Laparoscopic techniques, and are national leaders in advancing post operative recovery. Patients have less pain, recover faster and easier, and have improved cosmetic outcomes after abdominal surgery.

ACRS physicians, more than any other type of physician, are best able to differentiate hemorrhoid disease from other anorectal conditions. They offer multiple treatment options for hemorrhoids (many of which are simple and painless) and are adept at diagnosing and treating all other anorectal conditions.

Additional fields of specialization include the latest treatments for fecal incontinence, constipation, rectal prolapse, diverticulitis, and Crohn’s diseases. ACRS physicians regularly perform screening and diagnostic colonoscopies.
