Prescription Refills

If you would like to request a prescription refill please contact your pharmacy at least a week before your prescription is due for renewal.

If you would like to request a prescription refill online, you may click on the prescription refill link on this web page.

Prescription request will be viewed within 24 hours excluding Holidays and weekends. Please allow 48-72 hours for your refill to be authorized.

Referrals

Many insurance companies require that the Primary Care physician obtain a referral before you can be seen by a specialist or have diagnostic testing. Please become familiar with your insurance requirements for referrals.

If you would like to request a referral on line you may click on the referral link on this web page.

Your referral will be completed based upon the urgency of the referral, typically 5-7 business days from the time your referral is requested.

If you have questions about an existing referral or would like to update a previous referral, please call 770-384-9900 and follow the prompts for the referral coordinator.

From I-75:
Take the Windy Hill exit - Exit 260 towards Smyrna. Take Windy Hill all the way to South Cobb Dr. Turn left on South Cobb Dr. Turn Right onto Concord Rd. Smyrna Primary Care is on the left.

Appointments & Cancellations

If you would like to request a non-urgent appointment or cancel an appointment more than 2 business days in advance, we offer online appointment requests by clicking the link on this web page. If you are a new patient or need a same day appointment please call the office at 770-384-9900 and following the prompts to speak with someone to schedule the appointment.

We request a 24 hour cancellation notice.

Insurance and Payment

We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep our insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible.

Wellstar Medical Group participates in most major insurance plans. We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan.

All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card (HMO, CMO, PPO, etc.) with you to each appointment.

Hospitalization

If you are admitted as an in-patient at a hospital your doctor is affiliated with, you will be seen by a Hospitalist physician who will communicate with your Primary Care Physician.

A Hospitalist is a physician who specializes in caring for patients in the hospital 24 hours a day. They are Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians who will be responsible for your care from admission through discharge.

Our Pediatricians are on staff at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

We are highly motivated to make our patients’ office experience a positive one with the ultimate goal to better their health. Our patients can expect to be treated with respect and dignity in a warm and friendly office environment. We strive to provide excellent customer service to our patients from the first telephone call until their appointment checkout. We also have triage nurses to help answerer patient questions during office hours. Laboratory services are offered on site.

We provide free parking with disability access near the entrance.
