We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan. All co-payments are due at the time of service. WellStar Douglas Hospitalists are a team of Internal Medicine physicians devoted to the world-class care of patients admitted to WellStar Douglas Hospital. We strive to provide good communication and continuity of care to our patients while in the hospital. It’s our goal to provide thorough follow-up with the patient’s primary care physician once the patient is released from the hospital. Hospitalists help manage patients throughout their hospital stay, often seeing patients in the emergency room, admitting them to inpatient wards, following them as necessary into the critical care unit, and organizing post-acute care.
