General Directions

We are located approximately .5 miles from the Austell Road Cobb County Transit bus stop. From I-75: Take Windy Hill Road exit (#260) and turn west toward Smyrna. Travel approximately 6 miles to Austell Road. Turn left on Austell Road. Continue for 3 miles and turn right on Mulkey Road right before WellStar Cobb Hospital. We are located at 1790 Mulkey Road, #7.

Appointments & Cancellations

Our phones are open between the hours of 9:00AM and 5:00PM. During the hours of 5:00PM to 9:00AM our phones are on answering service for emergency situations. If you would like to request a reschedule or cancellation of appointment we ask that you contact us 2 business days in advance.

Hospitalization

Our providers have privileges at WellStar Douglas Hospital and WellStar Cobb Hospital. If you are admitted as an in-patient at Douglas or Cobb hospitals, you may also be seen by a Hospitalist physician who will coordinate your medical care. A Hospitalist is an Internal Medicine physician who specialized in caring for patients in the hospital 24 hours a day.

Practice News

We are excited to announce that we now have two additional physicians who have joined our practice: John G. Nino, M.D. and Shalini Kansal, M.D. Dr. Nino focuses on general adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders including performing sinus surgery and sleep apnea treatment. Dr. Kansal is especially interested in the surgical treatment of thyroid and parathyroid diseases. We look forward to growing our practice and being able to further meet our patient needs.

Our physicians are board certified in otolaryngology head and neck surgery and diagnose and treat a variety of adult and pediatric head and neck disorders. Our physicians are board certified. Our physicians work together to offer some of the most innovative and technologically advanced treatments for ear, nose and throat problems. WellStar Bi-County Ear, Nose and Throat also has an excellent audiology department with audiologists that work closely with our physicians. Our audiologists are available in our locations of Douglasville, Austell, and Smryna. The audiologists perform hearing evaluations and dispense the latest digital hearing aids. We offer state of the art inner ear tests at our Austell location.
