Prescription Refills
We strive to provide you with enough refills to last until you are due for your next appointment. Please bring all medications with you to each visit. If you are in need of a refill, you are most likely due for an appointment. Please plan to schedule an appointment prior to running out of your medication. We realize there are exceptions, therefore we ask that you call our office and speak with a member of our clinical staff to request your refill. Prescription refill requests will be addressed on any individual basis. We strive to handle your request as quickly as possible however, please allow at least 24 hours. We will only refill medications if you are a current patient of the practice.
Referrals
To request a referral, please call our office at 678-403-4660 and select option 2. A member of our clinical staff will assist you in completing your request. Please allow 3 days to process a referral.

Appointments & Cancellations

To schedule an appointment please call our office at 678-403-4660 and select option 1. Please contact our office at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time to cancel or reschedule so that we may accommodate other patients that need to be seen. We request that you bring all medications with you to each visit.

After hours we share call with other physicians to answer emergency questions.  Prescription refills and appointment requests will not be addressed by the physician on call. Please call during regular office hours for these requests. For emergencies after hours, please contact our office and the recording will provide you a phone number to reach the physician on call.

Insurance and Payment

We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep your insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible. We participate in most major insurance plans. If we are a participating provider of your plan, we will file your insurance for you.

All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please bring your current insurance card with you to each visit. If you do not have insurance, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless prior arrangements have been made with the office.

Hospitalization

Our physicians have privileges at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. If you are admitted as an in-patient at any Wellstar Hospital, a Hospitalist physician will care for you and communicate with our office. A Hospitalist is a physician who specializes in caring for patients in the hospital 24 hours a day. They are Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians who will be responsible for your care from admission through discharge.

Practice News

We contact all patients with test results, normal or abnormal. We strive to inform patients of test results within 5-7 days. If you have not been informed within this time frame, please contact our office.

Our goal is to give your family personalized care in a timely manner. Emergencies are inevitable and if you experience a delay, we apologize.
