Insurance and Payment

We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep your insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible.

WellStar Medical Group participates in most major insurance plans. For a complete list of insurance participants at this practice please call the practice main line. We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan. All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card (HMO, CMO, PPO, etc.) with you to each appointment.

About Us

WellStar pathologists are a team of specialist and sub specialist physicians who help care for patients by providing the information needed to ensure timely and appropriate patient management. We are consultants available to other physicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We specialize in the study and diagnosis of disease. We direct the WellStar clinical laboratories that perform a wide spectrum of testing including clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and transfusion medicine.

In our anatomic pathology laboratories we provide diagnoses for biopsies, cytopathology material, including Pap smears and fine-needle aspiration biopsies, surgical pathology specimens, and autopsy cases. We participate in multidisciplinary WellStar tumor conferences where we work with other physicians to help guide patient care.
