About Us
Located in a beautiful Georgian-style home adjacent to the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center campus, the Women’s Health Center provides a full range of testing and diagnostic procedures in a soothing, spa-like environment. Designed with women’s health care needs, comfort, and convenience in mind, the center is equipped with soft lighting, luxurious spa robes, roomy private changing areas, and special touches to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
One of our objectives is to educate women about the benefits of early detection and prevention. Providing the latest in imaging technology, the center’s radiologists, technologists and nurse navigator give women and their physicians important information to make decisions about their care.
In addition to serving women, our pediatric-trained technologists also perform pediatric ultrasounds on children, from infants to 18-year-olds.

Women’s Health Center patients have access to the highest level of compassion and access to the latest technology. That is why we are in the process of seeking accreditation with the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE). The accreditation is granted after a rigorous assessment of the medical imaging facility, from the structure to patient outcomes. Facilities are only eligible to apply if they provide the most advanced modalities including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and breast MRI.

When patients are diagnosed with breast cancer, they have access to treatment in the Enoch Callaway Cancer Center (ECCC) program at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.
The $24 million facility was recently renovated, and offers our community a whole new level of services in a beautiful setting, including:

- Cancer rehabilitation
- Integrated therapies
- A new chapel and public meeting space for support groups
- A new resource center, including a Children’s Corner with age-appropriate programs to help children cope with a family member’s diagnosis
