- If your company participates in matching gifts:
Request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to WellStar Foundation may be doubled or even tripled!
- If your company is not currently participating in matching gifts:

Everyday, departments at WellStar facilities need items like vital signs machines, scales, stretchers, or even linens. WellStar Foundation is proud to support our healthcare system through offering the opportunity to the public to help us purchase these items!
Select a hospital below to see which items are currently needed. Your gifts are appreciated and will be instrumental in helping us create and deliver world-class healthcare!
Invest in your community by supporting WellStar with your gift of stock, real estate or other appreciated assets.
These gifts show your support for WellStar’s mission and may offer you certain tax advantages. Appreciated assets that are given to charity retain 100% of their value, and help you to bypass capital gains tax by having the charity sell the assets. In addition, the gift triggers a charitable income tax deduction that results in actual cash savings to the donor.
Whether your assets are substantial or modest, you can make a difference in the work we do to ensure the patients and families that we serve are provided world class healthcare.
For real estate gifts, or if you have any questions or comments, please contact Gene Weeks by email at gene.weeks@wellstar.org or by calling 770-956-6676.

G.I.F.T. Givers
What’s raised here, stays here – and Patients who visit our hospital campuses benefit from these contributions. Did you know that WellStar’s employees currently contribute over $600,000 annually to to help realize our vision of world-class healthcare? Did you know that without these contributions, we wouldn’t be able to support some of our facility enhancements or launch new hospital programs?
The G.I.F.T. Program (Generous Individuals Funding Tomorrow) is exclusively for employees who make tax-deductible gifts via payroll deduction. Every penny raised stays within WellStar and every penny spent is guided by Employee Leadership Councils. These councils work directly with the administrators to best determine what the greatest need is at their facility.
Please join the 4,000 employees who already give to achieve our vision of world-class healthcare!
