A patient drop-off area is available on the first and second levels. The first level has a covered drop-off and can be accessed from Canton Hwy. The second level is uncovered and is accessed from Church Street.

The surgeons at Surgical Associates of Marietta are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care through personal commitment and teamwork. In order for our patients to fully understand their health and disease process, we take the time to carefully explain the prognosis and treatment protocol. We want our patients to feel comfortable about their surgical decision and the care they will receive.
Started by Dr. John Hodges and Dr. Spencer Mullins, our practice has served patients in the Marietta area since 1959. We offer bilingual services and personal attention from a friendly healthcare team. Our reputation has earned our practice high marks in regard to the ease of making appointments by phone, the courtesy of our staff, and the willingness of our surgeons to listen to our patients.
We are conveniently located across the street from WellStar Kennestone Hospital behind Rite Aid Drug Store. The building management requires that a $2.50 parking fee be paid. A patient drop-off area is available on the first and second levels. The first level has a covered drop-off and is accessed from Canton Hwy. The second level is uncovered and is accessed from Church Street.

We have three additional surgeons, new to our practice but not new to surgery. They are Jose E. Andujar, Kevin L. Powell, MD & Jinu P. Kamdar, MD. All are board certified general surgeons and all are very qualified to take care of your general surgical needs.

We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep your insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible.
Wellstar Physicians Group participates in most major insurance plans. For a complete list of insurance participants at this practice please call the practice main line. We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan.
All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card (HMO, CMO, PPO, etc.) with you to each appointment.

| Referrals |
In the event your insurance requires a referral to a specialist, please contact the primary care physician listed on your insurance card and give them the date of your appointment and the physician you will be seeing at our office. This referral will be needed prior to your visit with us to insure that your insurance processes and pays your benefits accurately. The referral can be faxed to our office at 770-427-8001.
